Herb on the Haunted Ship - My favorite picture

This is my favorite picture made by my friend Rozelle over at Rozelle's Art

Welcome

I hope you like my new main page. I loved the dark look and feel of the old one, especially the bridge pic (I added to the slideshow above and to the footer) because it felt like you were entering my mind via a very shaky suspension bridge and crosing into a very dark, unstable place. But the formatting was, comparatively speaking, old and inflexible so I went looking for something else that was me. I settled on this one because I liked the slideshow aspect of it, I was able to post my favorite picture by my friend and the columns allow for places to link, not only the blogs here, but I can add other links as well. And this is where I plan to post the non-blog stuff, like the stories.

The intro story, linked below and in the sidebar, is really only a sort of good place to start. You do get to meet one of my muses, though. If you are trying to figure out some of my motivations, why I am like I am, maybe The Story of the Notebooks would explain it better.

What Is This All About?

This is My Site, hidden from the rest of the world so I can express myself without fear of recrimination or backlash that woulod harm anyone besides me. The people who have been invited here are people who have shown themselves, not only to be my friend when I was friendless, but also that they can be trusted with my life.

If you have just stumbled upon this page by accident, you are welcome to comment on blogs and in places designed for commenting as long as you keep a civil tongue in your head.

In case you wonder, I did not design this page, but do own the copyright to any content here or other pages on this site. if you wish to re-post any story or article, please ask and tell me where it will be posted and in what context and I will, very likely, be happy to share some things. The design of the site is by Free CSS Templates. The slideshow uses either my own photos or things I have found around the net and is powered by Slidertron (a jQuery plugin by NodeThirtyThree).

The main blog is Logan's.

Where's Monika?

The twin sister I created is still alive. As one of my favorite authors in the whole world, Louis L'Amour, might say, "Monika is gonna take a lot of killin'." I have no intention of getting rid of her, but as I began developing her character and began trying to help her talk about her pretty horrific history I discovered several people I know well and count as friends have been through similar things and she became more and more difficult for me to work with. Her blog is still up, but she has no plans in the near future of posting there. She has let me know that she would rather live in the present and look to the future than constantly talk about a past she often had no control over and can do nothing about. I think she may come back and do some sort of advice column, but who knows with her?
